Choosing a tap
Count the tap holes. A mono mixer needs one tap hole, pillar taps need two, and 3, 4 or 5 tap hole mixers need that many. Undrilled basins and baths need a wall mounted or freestanding tap instead.
Check your water pressure. Each specification shows the minimum operating pressure the tap needs. A gravity tank in the loft gives low pressure, a combi boiler or unvented cylinder gives high pressure.
Match the finish. Most ranges come in chrome, matt black, brushed brass and brushed pewter, so your basin tap, bath tap, shower and waste can all match.
